The Team supports EY Global Payroll Operate’ s various applications from techno functional perspective. This team is based in India, Argentina & Philippines and have global support base, supporting the GPO PAS TAX sub-service line and within the Tax vertical in EY. This is a centralized team of tool experts and coordinators who strive to provide consistent & quality service through extensive growth focus. This team is the primary support team for Global Payroll Technology Operate & few other global tax engines and applications. This team also works very closely with global program leads in the areas of Tax Technology Enablement, MYEY, EY Interact/My Documents, SFTP & SNOW.

The opportunity

Work as a Level 2 technical support executive with a global team who is responsible in implementation and post implementation support of global tools for EY Global Payroll Operate. This team is the single point of contact for all countries where EY GPO has its presence.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working on entity and user onboarding requests on GPO global applications for external clients & EY team members.
  • Working on various functional support requests on global tools.
  • Work on the CAM of payroll tools for client specific customizations as and when needed.
  • Work with the IT, QA and Product team in testing and deploying new releases of the payroll tools.
  • Closely coordinate with the development and vendor teams on tool specific issues.
  • Managing relationships with countries and regional contacts and with geographically diverse service centers.
  • Building good knowledge of internal business processes and offering guidance to drive efficiencies.
  • Coordinate projects and monitor delivery of multiple tasks against deadlines.
  • Meet delivery deadlines and clearly communicate expectations.
  • Conduct GPO Global applications demo and training as and when requested.

Skills and attributes for success

  • 0-2 years of total work experience preferably into Payroll / IT production support.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in any discipline with strong affinity towards IT tools and technologies.
  • Prior experience on Service Now, Azure DevOps, eNate, SFTP is an added advantage.
  • MS Office suite (beginner to advanced) – word, excel, power point.
  • Able to provide functional support in good time to respond to critical usage requests from the business.
  • Positive attitude to function in a multi-cultural and team environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, structured thinking abilities and be able to see a project through to the end.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate an eye for detail and must adhere to 100% quality standards.
  • Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
