You will work with public and semi-public clients, especially in the areas of digitalization, optimization and organizational design. Your role will support our industry group at the Belgian level. Within EY, you join the public sector unit, which focuses solely on clients in the public sector. Every single one of its employees can count on years of experience within the government, this on a local, regional or federal level. That broad experience with, and knowledge about the public sector, makes us immediately deployable for public procurement. We foresee this role for a period of 2 years, after which you will have the opportunity to transition to consulting assignments within the public sector.

We are looking for a young graduate profile to start as soon as possible/ as soon as you graduate in the summer of ’25.

Your Key Responsibilities

• The support of the public sector unit at EY with regards to all the internal and external marketing activities for the public sector (monitoring of realized sales, searching for new opportunities, providing support on specific projects, business development, …);

• Screening public procurement and informing the designated colleagues;

• Follow-up, market analysis, win/loss evaluations, further professionalize our internal Public sector market’s organization;

• Following up on all the running projects within ‘Public Sector’ and providing answers to specific questions concerning legislation for public procurement. Your knowledge will be expanded annually thanks to a couple of external training courses;

• You will maintain the website and our social media channels, you will work on newsletters filled with current topics;

• You will assist in writing articles about key in the public sector;

• You advise on organizational changes and build the change strategy ;

• You design industry reporting systems, including both financial and operational data;

• You act as a team member and collaborate with your colleagues;

• You display maturity and the ability to function independently in our professional dealings.

Your Profile

You have:

• You have a degree in economics, public policy, social sciences or a law degree and are passionate about topics in the field of public sector, digitalization, optimization and organization design;
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch & are fluent in French and/ or English;
• You demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
• You thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry, multinational environment;
• You have a natural desire to keep on growing & progressing;
• You believe your workplace is more than a place to work;
• You impress with your pronounced flexibility and openness to new, varied challenges;
• You work precisely, in a structured and independent manner;
• You have strong analytical skills and a quick grasp of things;
