EY is looking for an Auditor to join our Assurance team in the Cabo Verde Office. In this context, you will acquire the experience and skill set necessary to become a leader of the future whilst delivering high quality and efficient audits and projects. As a Junior Auditor at EY, your career is yours to build!

Your key responsibilities

• Be part of audit projects for the world’s leading and fastest growing companies, as well as with family-owned businesses and start-ups active in a variety of industries (e.g. automotive, government and public sector, consumer products, media and entertainment, oil and gas, power and utilities and technology).
• Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas.
• Audit of accounting & financial reporting information.
• Analyze financial statements.
• Make an informed decision about the validity of financial statements.
• Inventory stocks to validate inventory quantities.
• Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
• Translating complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables.
• Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes.
• Contributing to the team’s good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best result.

Qualifications:

• Academic Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management or similar fields of study.
• 0-2 years of work experience.
• Analytical mindset.
• Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments.
• Full English proficiency.
