Our Helsinki office is now looking for ambitious young professionals to join our team as Trainees during Spring or Fall 2025.



The opportunity

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work together with our experienced consultants in real client engagements, enabling you to get a realistic view on strategy consulting as a career and understanding of the tools and methods used to solve strategic challenges.


We will provide you with a unique experience depending on your profile and interests. Your work may focus on one or several of the following areas, including:

  • Assisting in corporate and growth strategies, such as expanding into new markets and products, updating company strategies, and assessing target companies' commercial landscapes in transactions

  • Advising business leaders on acquisitions, divestitures, and operating model transformation, overseeing operational aspects for a successful planning, execution and value creation

  • Crafting strategies with sustainability and ESG principles, driving business model innovation, and creating ESG/Sustainability roadmaps, while integrating value creation, ESG due diligence, and sustainable finance into M&A

Your key responsibilities

As a Trainee you will assist our professionals in various assignments, e.g.:

  • Gathering and analysing information on target and client companies and their markets

  • Preparing proposals, engagement deliverables and other client presentations together with the team

  • Frequent interaction with the team on the progress, next steps, potential issues, and conclusions relating to the analysis and deliverables

  • Preparing for and collaborating at client meetings

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an academic master’s degree (e.g. M.Sc. Econ., M.Sc. Tech or other)

  • Strong academic record with analytical mindset and structured problem-solving approach

  • Ability to create intelligible analyses and high-quality presentations

  • Team player with high personal integrity and capability of working effectively in a multicultural environment

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite

  • Fluent skills in English, fluent Finnish and Swedish are considered as an advantage
