EY Young Tax Professional of the Year (YTPY) is an international competition designed to reward and foster the next generation of tax leaders.

Do you want to see the business world in global terms? Do you want to learn to work with people from around the world and learn how business is done in different cultures? All of this while learning new skills that are expected of tomorrow's leaders?

Who are we looking for?

  • Singapore citizens/residents or international students studying full-time in a Singapore based university

  • Registered full-time undergraduate students or full-time master’s students, who are graduating in 2026 or later

  • Students with no more than 1 year of formal working experience (excluding internships)

  • Open to students across all disciplines

  • Strong and consistent academic track record

How can I apply?

  • Detailed resume + a statement (in not more than 200 words) the career and personal goals you have for participating in the Young Tax Professionals of the Year Competition

  • A copy of your latest university transcript

What happens after I submit my application?

Eligible applicants will be invited to the local YTPY Information Session happening on 2 Sep 2025 at 1130am or 3 Sep 2025 at 530pm via MS Teams.

Eligible applicants will also receive a preliminary case study to complete.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview to determine the finalists.

The finalists will participate in the local YTPY Finals and present their case study response in person.
