EY Risk Consulting – Financial Services Third-Party Risk Management - FS TPRM – Intern

As part of our EY- Consulting – FS TPRM team you’ll be part of our client facing engagements and internal Third-Party Risk Consulting projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You’ll work in high-performing teams that deliver exceptional client service, enabling organisations to grow, innovate, protect, and optimise their business performance – playing your part in building a better working world.

The opportunity

We are currently seeking for enthusiastic and self-driven students from Information Security background i.e., B. Tech, MBA (IT) and MBA (Info Sec) to join our FS TPRM Team as an intern. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of organisation.

Your key responsibilities

  • Continually assess/reassess the operational risks associated with Third Party Risk Management and inherent risks in business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures & practices and impact of new technology
  • Work with team and client to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the Third-Party engagement.
  • Maintain relationships with client management to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal (i.e. written) communication skill
  • Willingness to learn and grow in Risk Management which is one of the fastest growing consulting services
  • Knowledge of vendor/Third Party Risk management and strong orientation toward Third-Party Risk
  • Good knowledge of information security concepts, risk and controls concepts
  • Policy and procedure development in alignment with business needs
  • Service Delivery - Engagement planning, management, client report review and delivering client presentations.
  • Using various standards like - (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SSAE16, HIPAA)
  • Assessing the application security, Documenting, Business cycle controls (BCCs) review, general computer controls (GCCs) in Third Party Risk management.
