Are you a recent graduate with a passion for SAP solutions and a drive to excel in the consulting world? EY is seeking talented individuals like you to embark on a rewarding career journey with our Technology Consulting SAP team.

The SAP graduate will join the Technology Consulting SAP team and be responsible for the delivery of associated work within EY and on projects with external clients. This position is mostly client-facing and requires travel to the client site as the project warrants.

As a SAP graduate you will learn to:

• Interact with business and functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and assist in defining technical requirements
• Develop solutions & functionality to meet provided requirements
• Conduct assessments and quality assurance of work completed by other consultants within the team
• Execute performance, functional and non-functional testing of developed solutions
• Work within a broader team, to ensure the correct solution is provided to the client

You will gain experience in:

• SAP implementation experience
• System Development Life Cycle
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management
• Innovative thinking & Design thinking principles
• Transformation journeys at a variety of levels (management, design, implementation)
• Cloud-based technologies and solutions
• Business Writing Skills (business cases, proposals)
• Presentation and Facilitation Skills

There are two areas within this role:

• Development – this is a technical programming area, focusing on the provision of custom developed programs and solutions to meet the client requirements
• Functional – this area focuses on converting the business requirements into technical requirements and associated solutions making use of the SAP system standard capabilities

Requirements:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work at client sites as required by projects.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• South African Citizen
• Minimum of 65% average over all years of study
