The opportunity
Globalization and technological developments rapidly change the world we live in. For many organizations, this results in complex challenges – in terms of risks as well as opportunities! The colleagues of the Supply Chain & Operations team of EY have a passion to support clients in embracing those challenges. We do this, for example, by transforming complex business processes, and structurally optimize the way our clients operate.
As part of the team, you will help our clients to bridge the gap between strategy and operational performance and with that, create long term value for the company and its customers. For example, by preparing and facilitating workshops for the client on key subjects like inventory management, warehouse optimization, sustainable supply chains, smart factories (Industry 4.0), or continuous process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma). In your daily work, you will also be exposed to the client frequently by conducting interviews or applying and supporting them to implement improved standard ways of working. And the next day, you are gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and collaborate with your colleagues to present the outcome of your analysis to the client. This way, you will experience a steep learning curve. Before you know, you are the expert in the field, providing the client with training and coaching!
