Your Key Responsibilities

Positioning of the role – the best of both worlds

As a Junior Consultant within the Microsoft service offering, you combine business understanding with a growing technical expertise in Microsoft platforms.

You work on digital transformation programs where Microsoft (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure) acts as a key enabler to fundamentally improve how organizations operate.

You can ask as the bridge between business and technology: understanding business needs, challenging existing ways of working, and translating them into scalable and future-proof Microsoft solutions.

Business side – understand & improve

You start from a strong business perspective:

  • Analyze and document end-to-end business processes
  • Gather, structure, and validate business requirements
  • Collaborate with and manage stakeholders across different levels of the organization

You help clients improve their operations by:

  • Translating business needs into practical and workable solutions
  • Contributing to process optimization, governance, and change initiatives
  • Acting as a connector between business users and technical teams
  • Bringing an AI-first mindset into the solutions

Technical side – deepen your Microsoft expertise

Alongside the business aspect, you are driven to grow technically within the Microsoft ecosystem:

  • Actively develop expertise in Dynamics 365 (ERP and CRM)
  • Work with the Power Platform (Power BI, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse etc.) to create applications and to automate business processes
  • Move from functional configuration to low-code / no-code solutions

You progressively build a solid understanding of:

  • How Microsoft solutions are designed and configured
  • How data, processes, and integrations work together
  • How a scalable and future-proof architecture is implemented in practice

Collaboration & delivery

You work in multidisciplinary teams together with consultants, architects, and developers, both within EY and at the client.

You will gain:

  • Exposure to large and complex clients across various industries
  • Interaction with a wide range of roles within client organizations (business, IT, management)
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, and project delivery methodologies
  • A LOT of experience from the engagement, ranging from short-term assignments to multi-year and multimillion transformation programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI, by solving business problems with an AI-first mindset.

Your Profile

  • You are a last year Master student in Information Technology, Engineering, Applied Economics, Commercial Science, Computer Science, Commercial Engineering or related. A Manama degree or MBA is a plus;
  • You have a keen interest in technology
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, and are 100% fluent in either Dutch, French is a plus;
  • You have good people, analytical, and reporting skills with a positive, problem-solving mindset;
  • You are able to work autonomously with a focus on getting things done;
  • You can thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry, multinational environment.
  • You demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint);
  • You have good analytical, reporting and presentation skills and you are results oriented.
