The opportunity

We are currently looking for ambitious graduates and professionals with up to two years of experience to join our Strategy and Transactions team in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

Depending on your personal expectations and interests we offer positions within the following competence areas:

Financial Transaction Diligence

Advise clients in the financial analysis of target companies and the robustness of their financial performance. Assess the stand-alone financial performance in separation of businesses prior to divestments.

Valuation, Modelling and Economics

Valuation of businesses, financial and intangible assets for transactions, financial reporting and tax purposes. Build and review financial models in Excel.

Corporate Finance / M&A Advisory

Lead sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions and capital raisings and have full project management responsibility to lead all transaction workstreams, managing buyers and advise on negotiations. EY-Parthenon

EY-Parthenon constitutes the strategy arm of EY’s Strategy and Transactions service line. Your key responsibilities

As part of Strategy and Transactions you advise on strategies to raise, invest, optimize and preserve capital and the execution of M&A transactions. Our teams bring together professionals across all transaction and strategy competence areas, bringing sector expertise and teams from multiple geographies to provide a complete set of advisory around transactions to help our clients achieve their objectives.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A suitable academic degree (M.Sc. Tech or M.Sc. Econ.) in the field of e.g. Finance, Accounting or Economics, Industrial Management or Engineering
  • Excellent academic credits
  • Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Relevant work experience
  • A passion for activities outside of your studies, especially promoting your ability to collaborate as part of a diverse team
  • An eagerness to learn how our clients operate across different industries
  • International experience, either from studies or work
