A new Strategy and Innovation team of EY Parthenon, based in Mauritius, serving Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa, with an entrepreneurial, disruptive and design-led approach to consulting. We work with ambitious clients on Moonshot Projects and rapid innovation buildouts, by bringing together design, technology, business, and social impact.

The opportunity

We are recruiting globally for junior design consultants to join a small and diverse, multi-disciplinary team in Mauritius.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in some of the most important and transformative initiatives in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, and work with high performing teams both locally and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting our team to pursue and deliver on client projects, as well as support internal operational initiatives. Your key responsibilities include to:
 

• Understand client and project requirements
   
• Design stunning proposals, presentations and reports
   
• Support innovation projects with a design-thinking led approach
   
• Design rapid storyboards, innovation concepts and prototypes

• Develop wireframes, mock ups, and user flows based on user needs
   
• Understand product specifications and user psychology

• Combine interface design concepts with digital design

• Create visual elements such as icons, logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message

• Conduct interviews and tests with customers and key stakeholders to gather insights
• Provide team with required administrative and operational support

• Bring a fresh approach

Requirements and skills:
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Design or a related field

• You have had at least 1 year of work experience (internships count)
   
• You communicate well, and are great at turning ideas into visual concepts
   
• You have a good eye for design and are great and fast at powerpoint

• You have experience with design software, graphics editing tools and prototype tools

• You constantly look for ways to grow and develop your skills

• You are interested in learning and applying your design skills to business
   
• You have led teams or projects in school or at work
   
• You speak English fluently
