Are you passionate about technology, AI and automation in a business environment?

EY-Parthenon's Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) team is looking for a student assistant to help drive automation, AI adoption, and tool development within our Copenhagen office. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical skills with real-world business and financial applications, helping one of the world's leading advisory firms transform how valuation and modelling services are delivered.

The opportunity: Your next adventure awaits

VME is part of EY-Parthenon’s Transactions and Corporate Finance department, which is one of the leading advisors in the market. Our overarching team (VME) is split into three sub-teams, each with a different area of focus. This specific job post is for an available position in the Valuation team.

In Valuation, we perform valuations of companies and individual assets that recognize the need for transparent and robust consulting to satisfy corporate, regulatory, and accounting requirements. We help clients within a broad range of sectors advance their strategic, financial and tax agendas through corporate finance, the use of analytics and economic analyses.

As a student assistant in VME, you will help shape how technology is used within our valuation practice. Working closely with valuation professionals, you will identify opportunities to automate processes, develop tools, and leverage AI solutions that improve efficiency and create value for our teams and clients.

This role is ideal for a student who enjoys building solutions, experimenting with new technologies, and working at the intersection of technology, data, and business.

Your primary responsibilities will include

  • Developing and maintaining internal automation tools and applications

  • Supporting the implementation of AI-enabled solutions across the valuation team

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate existing processes and workflows

  • Building prototypes, dashboards, and tools that support valuation and modelling engagements

  • Exploring and testing emerging AI technologies and their practical applications within financial advisory services

  • Providing ad-hoc technical support and contributing to innovation initiatives across the team

The weekly working hours are approximately 15 hours, with flexibility during exam periods. The starting date is as soon as possible.

What we look for

We are looking for a curious and proactive student with a strong technical foundation and an interest in applying technology to solve business problems.

You enjoy building things, learning new technologies, and turning ideas into practical solutions. You are comfortable working independently but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues from non-technical backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field

  • You have experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar

  • You have an interest in AI, machine learning, automation, software development, or data analytics

  • You have an interest in understanding business challenges and translating them into technical solutions

  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, APIs, cloud platforms, data visualization tools, or AI frameworks is considered an advantage

  • You are fluent in English

What we offer

  • A unique opportunity to work alongside both technology and business professionals

  • Hands-on experience developing AI and automation solutions in a leading advisory firm

  • Significant responsibility and the opportunity to shape your own projects

  • A flexible student position with a strong focus on learning and professional development

  • A collaborative and innovative work environment with ambitious colleagues

What you can expect

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we would love to hear from you.

Application deadline: 25 October 2026

The application process consists of the following steps:
