The opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, punctual and professional Driver / Messenger to join EY Mauritius. In this role, you will provide safe and efficient transportation and messenger services, helping our people and business operate effectively. You will represent EY during every journey and delivery, applying sound judgement, discretion and a strong commitment to service.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide safe, reliable and timely transportation for authorised passengers, documents and items.
  • Carry out messenger duties, including the collection and delivery of correspondence, documents, parcels and other business items.
  • Plan journeys efficiently and use appropriate routes across Mauritius.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, safe and serviceable condition, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow applicable road traffic requirements and EY policies and procedures at all times.
  • Handle documents, information and business matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to journeys, deliveries, fuel or other assigned activities, where required.
  • Support the office with other related duties reasonably assigned from time to time.

  • Good knowledge of roads, routes and key locations across Mauritius.
  • Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise assignments.

  • Sound judgement and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A minimum School Certificate (SC) or an equivalent qualification.
  • A valid driving licence authorising you to drive the vehicles required for the role, including a van.
  • At least two years of relevant professional driving experience.
  • A clean driving record with no major traffic offences.
  • A clean certificate of character.
