Junior Global Trade Consultant - Industries

Industries: You will not focus on a specific sector, you may work for clients active in the following sectors: Transport, logistics, manufacturing, oil & gas, pharma, retail, service providers, etc.

We are looking for Junior Global Trade Consultants for our office in Diegem.

You will be integrated into the indirect tax department of EY Tax Consultants in Belgium. The main activities include advice and support of national and multinational enterprises with respect to indirect taxes and international trade. You will intensively co-operate with our accountants, legal experts and management consultants.

Your key responsibilities

• Work effectively as a member of a worldwide network of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support &maintaining communication.
• Collaborate with a team of customs and international trade professionals to combine diverse cross-border transaction experience with local tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
• Build strong internal relationships with Customs and International Trade, Indirect Tax and across other service lines.

Your profile

• You will obtain a Master degree in Applied Economics / Commercial Engineering / Commercial Science / (preferably Tax) Law.
• You are interested in international trade and commerce.
• Good knowledge and understanding of accounting and reporting may be an asset.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• You are a motivated person and a team player.
• You are able to start in September 2025.
