The opportunity

EY Mozambique is currently recruiting professionals for Assurance service line, for the Technology Risk sub-service line. If you want to have diverse and independent work that requires dedication and initiative - this is your opportunity!

As part of our market-leading team, you will be part of the Technology Risk team, auditing relevant clients in several sectors, private and public. Our clients are the major clients in the Mozambique market, including some with group reporting. The audits which you will be able to be part can be in Mozambique or international.

Audit Staff Responsibilities:

  • Technical excellence - Create consistent technical excellence through a broad awareness of the technical principles involved in different service offerings as determined by the local business, through a mix of experiences and learning. Understands and applies the correct methodology, tools and technology. Uses EY and client resources to find and research relevant information efficiently
  • Client - Develop report with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their business and their needs. Provide feedback to the team about clients’ needs so we can respond effectively. Respond promptly to all client requests while adhering to review procedures. Accurately identifies client issues and communicates clear explanations and suggested actions to the project team. Communicates effectively with client contacts through careful questioning and listening and delivers facts and analyses in ways that keep the listener’s attention.
  • Business - Analyze and clearly and accurately presents data and other information to identify significant trends or key issues. Contribute to the EY’s knowledge-sharing culture by participating in forums, networks and communities. Develop an understanding of our strategic priorities, business structure, team goals and personal role. Understand and accurately communicates the breadth of our markets agenda around EY service offerings, geographical markets and sectors. Communicate ideas to improve work-in-progress, surfacing problems and opportunities with the team. Assist with business development through practical support, such as researching and collating relevant information and knowledge. Develop the basic elements of a business case with supervision. Manage time to budget.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Degree in Information Technology or similar
  • No experienced required (A minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience will be valuable)
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills
  • Upper intermediate English level and be fluent in Portuguese
