Are you interested in a unique opportunity to start your career within EY-Parthenon? Then you should join our successful Nordic Transactions team at EY-Parthenon in Helsinki. Our Transactions Analysts have a broad expertise across many different industries and customers, and our business is rapidly growing. We are now looking for ambitious graduates or soon-to-be graduates to join our team.
As an Analyst Trainee within the Valuation and Modelling team, you'll participate in client engagements related to:
- Valuations of diverse businesses and individual assets for various purposes including transactions, management decision making, accounting and tax matters.
- Developing financial models for our clients’ needs including e.g. M&A transactions, operational forecast modelling, investment feasibility analyses or project financing models.
Our clients operate within all of the industry sectors and consist of companies of all sizes from publicly listed companies to startups.
You'll work effectively as a team member, demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communications and updating senior team members on progress. You will, at an early stage, have the opportunity to interact with international as well as local clients and other advisors, which requires that you are comfortable taking responsibility and initiative.
What we look for:
- Qualifications

- To be graduating within 1-2 years or recently graduated from the field of e.g. Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant education

- Genuine interest in M&A transactions and a business mindset

- Good written and oral skills in English

- Analytical mindset and social intelligence to work in a multicultural and fast paced environment

- Good skills in MS Excel and basic understanding of common valuation methods
- Good skills in MS Excel and basic understanding of common valuation methods
- Ideally, you’ll also have

- Good written and oral skills in Finnish

- Prior work experience from finance, accounting, or corporate finance

- Basic understanding of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or other programming languages

What you can expect:

- If selected from the first screening, you’ll receive an invitation via email to our video assessment. Please note that the video assessment is part of the recruitment process and needs to be completed to be considered in this process. The video interview must be completed by 10 September 2026.
- We are looking for interns mainly for end of 2026 and for early spring 2027 but considering also candidates for the end of 2027.
- Interviews will be conducted throughout the application process and during the first half of September.
