As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with a wide range of international employment matters. You will focus on the complexity of social security law and provide comprehensive support from A to Z. Your responsibilities will include drafting essential documents such as employment contracts, assignment letters, and policies, ensuring that our clients are fully compliant with legal requirements across different jurisdictions.
You will provide assistance with the following topic’s:
• International and National Social Security: Advising of clients in the context of cross-border employment set-ups and the applicable social security legislation, including assistance with all compliance obligations. Advising on the individual social security rights and benefits, including effects of cross-border employment.
• International Employment Law: advisory and implementation of salary split, secondment within EEA and abroad, assignments, international policies.
• National Employment Law: Consulting and drafting of employment agreements and policies, payroll and social documents, dismissal, etc. Assisting and consulting on the legal aspects of compensation and benefit structures (e.g. agreements around changes to salary packages, implementation of new benefits or work structures, etc.)
• Assistance with social inspections and performing due diligence in the framework of merger and acquisitions.
Our People Advisory Services Department is looking for an intern to reinforce their Employment law and Social Security team in Antwerp or Diegem.

To qualify for the role
• You have a bachelor’s degree in law and will obtain your master degree (knowledge or interest of social law based on the chosen majors during your Law study) or you will obtain an additional degree in Social Law.
• You have strong language skills in Dutch or French and English.
• You are a team player and confident communicator.
• You demonstrate drive and determination.
• You have a commercial feeling.
• You want to become a trusted business advisor and an expert in national and international social law.
• Internships are open all year around.
