The payroll operate team provides full operational support for either a specific executive group or the whole organization. Our reliable, confidential services include salary payment preparation, tax and social security compliance, payroll accounting and reporting, data entry checking and controls and monthly data processing.

Industries: You will not focus on a specific sector, you may work for clients active in the following sectors: Transport, logistics, manufacturing, oil & gas, pharma, retail, service providers, etc.

As a Payroll Consultant Intern, you will become part of a multidisciplinary team of payroll experts. You will support the team in the day‑to‑day payroll activities for our clients and gain a solid understanding of payroll processes in an international context.

During your internship, you will learn to:

• Support the preparation and execution of monthly payrolls
• Work efficiently with Excel and payroll tools
• Assist in answering client payroll‑related questions
• Understand the difference between regular and shadow payrolls
• Support the onboarding of new payroll clients
• Collaborate closely with experienced payroll consultants
• Learn by doing, with continuous guidance and feedback

Your key responsibilities

• Support the team in delivering Belgian payroll services for international clients
• Assist in ensuring accurate and timely monthly payroll processing
• Develop hands‑on experience with payroll software
• Prepare day‑to‑day payroll deliverables under supervision
• Learn to work in line with legal deadlines and quality standards
• Report to and be coached by a Senior Consultant or Payroll Manager

Who we are looking for

• You are currently a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Human Resources, Economics, Legal Practice, Accountancy or a related field
• You have an interest in payroll and are eager to gain practical experience
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• You are motivated, accurate and eager to learn
• You enjoy working in a team and in an international environment
• You have a hands‑on and proactive mindset
• You are available to start your internship in September 2026
