Data privacy is a core topic for organizations operating in regulated and digital environments. At EY, we support EU institutions, public sector organizations, and leading companies in translating complex regulation into practical solutions.
To support the growth of our Data Privacy team, we are looking for a Junior Consultant who recently graduated and is eager to build a career at the intersection of law, technology, and consulting.
This role offers a steep learning curve, close coaching, and exposure to high-impact projects from day one.
Our team is organized into four core cyber capabilities that drive our go-to-market & we are looking for a new joiner to reinforce the team as from the 24th of August ’26.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Consultant in the Data Privacy team, you will:
- Support data protection and privacy engagements, including:
- GDPR compliance assessments
- Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Privacy governance and operating models
- Assist in translating EU digital regulation (GDPR, AI Act, NIS2, EHDS) into practical client deliverables
- Contribute to documentation, analysis, and reporting under guidance of senior team members
- Support client workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues across Cyber, Technology, Risk, and Law
- Actively learn through on-the-job coaching, training, and certification paths
Your Profile
You recently graduated or will graduate during the summer of ‘26 and are motivated to grow in a consulting environment.
Required
- A recent master’s degree (e.g. law, IT, engineering, data, economics, business, or similar)
- Strong interest in data protection, privacy, and digital regulation
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and/or French; English is a strong asset
Nice to have (not required)
- First exposure to GDPR, privacy, or information security (courses, thesis, internship)
- Interest in AI, data, or digital technologies
- Experience with research, analysis, or structured reporting
