As a Technology Risk Consultant, we focus on building trust in data and technology. Our expertise includes providing comprehensive IT audit services, IT certification and attestation services, and IT risk advisory services. We aim to enhance our clients' technology governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, translating uncertainty into confidence and accelerating performance

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the company’s data and technology universe from a technical and business perspective.
  • Execute in-depth assessments of IT processes, risks, and controls through interviews, desktop research, and system analysis.
  • Review the setup of globally renowned systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and technology governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
  • Perform detective analyses using advanced data analytics.
  • Address trends in digital regulation (e.g., NIS2 for cyber security, DORA for cyber resilience, CSRD for sustainability) and leverage new technologies (e.g., cloud computing, quantum computing, Artificial Intelligence).
  • Provide clients with EY-supported insights and pragmatic recommendations to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and risk management.
  • Take responsibility for the successful end-to-end delivery of multiple engagements, reporting directly to the executive level.
  • Develop strong client relationships and potentially identify new business opportunities

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, applied economics, commercial science, computer science, or related fields with a keen interest in technology.
  • Foundational understanding of IT governance and risk frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) or ISACA certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in Dutch
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Understanding of programming and coding is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a focus on getting things done.
