From Mauritius, we support a uniquely diverse portfolio of clients across Africa and EMEIA - from major corporates to fast-growing mid-market companies and family-owned businesses. Our projects can range from defining a comprehensive strategy for the C-Suite, designing operating models for regional conglomerates, to supporting SMEs in their international expansion and governmental and global instances on economic development.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Performing secondary research using a variety of sources (e.g., analyst reports, market research reports, news articles)
  • Executing various analyses (e.g., customer segmentation, market sizing, competitor analysis, macroeconomic forecasting) to support the strategic recommendations
  • Designing and executing in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts and customers
  • Reviewing business plans to identify key assumptions and drivers

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, STEM or a related field
  • Outstanding academic performance, including coursework relevant to the position, preferably including quantitative courses in mathematics, business, economics, biologic sciences or engineering
  • Ideally some related work experience through internships
  • Demonstrated interest in related fields through internships, coursework or extracurricular activities
  • A strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
  • Proficient in English and French, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment
  • Willingness to travel to meet client obligations

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing and able to learn and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
