The Opportunity

You will become an important part of our energetic, diverse, and market-leading Corporate Finance team, working together with c. 20 colleagues in Finland and c. 150 across the Nordics and c. 2,000 globally. As part of your role, you will be working primarily on technology, healthcare and financial services transactions in Finland as well as across Europe. Our local team co-operates daily with our Nordic and European colleagues, so the work environment is truly international and versatile, with c. 50% of our transactions outside Finland.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst or Analyst, you will be an essential part of each project execution team and will conduct several key corporate finance tasks. You get to be part of the day-to-day execution of buy- and sell-side M&A, as well as strategy projects by assisting the team in valuation and financial analysis. Additionally, you get to prepare marketing materials, including financial models, management presentations, information memorandums, and client meeting materials. You will get to participate in client meetings together with other senior team members and support the team in providing objective and responsive advice to our clients across industries and geographies.

As part of our team, you will have the responsibility of developing the Corporate Finance business within various focus sectors. Through both formal and informal on-the-job training combined with professional and personal courses and coaching, we will help you develop the necessary skills to become an effective corporate finance professional.

To qualify for the role, we expect you to have:

  • Suitable academic degree (e.g. M.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or similar)

  • Professional working language proficiency in English and Finnish

  • Passion for working in corporate finance

  • Strong numerical and financial skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements

  • Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • A strong personal drive and proactivity

  • Great people skills and team orientation

  • An eye for detail and curiosity to learn more

Ideally, you will also have

At least one-to-two years of relevant work experience in financial advisory (e.g., investment banking, private equity, strategy consultancy, leveraged finance, or a corporate M&A/business development role).
