Our EY Strategy & Transactions: Transformative Strategy and Transactions Programmes;

1. Government & Infrastructure: Advising on economic feasibility, policy analysis, and financial and commercial strategy. We provide procurement advisory services for large-scale infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships.

2. Lead Advisory: Offering strategic and financial advice throughout a business's lifecycle, including fundraising, disposals, acquisitions, and succession planning.

3. Transaction Support: Providing both financial and commercial due diligence for clients considering acquiring or selling all or part of a business.

4. Valuations, Modelling, and Economics: Analysing businesses for growth opportunities and helping them gain a competitive edge.

5. Strategy: Our corporate finance strategy services can help you to manage your risk/return trade-offs to support you with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency

6. Transaction Strategy and Execution: Support mergers and acquisitions transactions by understanding clients’ strategic goals and applying creative thinking to help achieve successful outcomes.

• Qualifications: We welcome interns from all backgrounds and disciplines who are on track to achieve a 2:1 or higher in their degree. English is the business language of our firm. To ensure all candidates can fully participate in our programmes and workplace, we require evidence of proficiency in both written and spoken English.

What to expect:

• Day One: After a comprehensive induction, you will begin your journey as an intern. From day one, you will be assigned a buddy on your team who will help you get settled in, and ensure you are set up for a successful summer at EY.

• Your Role: You’ll work as part of team, meet with clients, and make a real contribution to EY projects. We trust the students who join EY for the summer to make a real impact, and we encourage you to do so. You will develop analytical and problem-solving skills, learn how to network, build working relationships and how to lead and manage projects.

• Work/Life Balance: Whilst there will be a certain focus on building your technical skillset, we also want to furnish our interns with the skills needed to manage their workload and create a healthy work/life balance. Throughout the programme, you will be invited to join us for sessions on a variety of wellbeing topics, as well as plenty of social outings so you can get to know your fellow colleagues and interns on the programme.

• Get to know EY: No matter what programme you choose, we want you to get to know us and what we do. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to attend deep-dive sessions into Assurance, Tax, Consulting, EY Parthenon teams and more, so by the end of the summer you will have a great idea of the breath of opportunities at EY. Overall, the EY Summer Internship will offer you the chance to figure out if your chosen career path is the absolute right fit for you.

• Compensation: The EY Summer Internship programme is fully paid - you will work for EY as if you were a full-time employee, therefore, we believe you should be compensated as such.

• Future Opportunities: At the end of your internship if we think you will be a great fit for our team longer term, and you are interested in a career at EY, we may even offer you a graduate position!
