Financial Audit IT (FAIT) Senior:

As a Senior in Technology Risk (FAIT), you will:

  • Perform IT-related external and internal audit and attestation procedures for both private and public companies.
  • Consistently apply professional standards, regulations, and AICPA attestation standards.
  • Work on financial audit engagements, assessing IT-related internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Analyse data to detect risks, identify control deficiencies, duplicated efforts, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
  • Understand the client's industry, key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Stay informed about general business and economic developments and their impact on the client.

Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, International Relations, or a related field.

Must have 2 years of relevant IT audit experience in audit engagements as a Financial Audit IT integration leader.

Alternatively, a Master’s degree in the same fields with 1 year of relevant experience is acceptable.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of supervisory experience focused on financial audit IT in public company audits.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience responsible for:

  • Supervising audit professionals performing IT audits.
  • Integrating with financial audit teams on application controls, Information Produced by Entity (IPE), and IT-dependent manual controls.
